Helite är ett franskt företag med lång erfarenhet inom airbag-teknologi. Idag utvecklar och säljer de produkter för exempelvis MC och ridsport.

Helite e-Turtle bygger på samma tillförlitliga teknologi som den mekaniska versionen, e-Turtle har istället för mekanisk utlösning en elektronisk aktivering. Batteritid ca 25 timmar, när batteriet börjar bli urladdat lyser en diod orange, laddas med USB kabel som medföljer.

Plaggen är konstruerade för att täcka och skydda en så stor del av överkroppen som möjligt. De ger ett gott skydd av bl.a. nacke, ryggrad, bröstkorg, höfter och inre organ.
Vid en olycka fylls västen med kolsyra från en kolsyrepatron med inbyggd krutladdning vilken utlöses elektroniskt.

Helite uppblåsbara skyddsväst är tänkt att ha utanför din ordinarie jacka, en mycket bra uppfinning för säkrare MC-åkning.

Tvättråd; Får inte maskintvättas, får inte torkas i torktumlare.
Airbagvästen rengörs med fuktig trasa/svamp och ljummet vatten, du kan använda ljummet tvålvatten, ej tvättmedel. Var försiktig med reflexerna, gnugga inte hårt på dessa.

This wireless vest provides ultra-fast fall detection and excellent protection of vital areas.

Our airbags offer a wide protection area from head to tailbone:

    1. Maintaining the cervical vertebrae and the head.
    2. Rigidification of the trunk to stabilize the vital organs: thorax, lungs, pancreas, abdomen, stomach, liver.
    3. Complete protection of the spinal column.
    4. Kidney and hip protection*. The trunk is maintained to better resist hyper-flexing.

Big protection volume: Helite airbags offer biggest protection volume on the market between 17L and 28L.  The unique shape of the airbag absorbs shocks and stabilizes the body from head to tailbone.

TURTLE technology: a SAS-TEC level 2 back protector was added to the airbag to distribute the impact forces over the entire airbag. This technology significantly improves energy absorption and reduces the risk of intrusion.

Electronic system: A set of on-board sensors analyze the situation in real time. This multi-sensor technology enables 360° detection and covers a wide range of accidents: from 0km/h, at low speed and at any angle of impact.

Fork sensor (optional): autonomous for 5 years, the fork sensor is easily installed on the motorcycle. It covers more accidents (from 0km/h, when stationary) and divides the accident detection by 2.

Reusable: Our the system can be reactivated in 2 minutes by yourself, you only need to change the e-cartridge.

How does the electronic system work?
The electronic airbag system is easy to use, wireless and 100% autonomous. Simply press the ON/ OFF button to activate the system. The system includes 2 sensors: the CDU sensor and the fork sensor. The CDU sensor is situated inside the vest and follows the rider’s motion in context, the fork sensor is placed on the motorcycle’s fork and detects impacts on the motorcycle. When an accident or a fall is detected, the system triggers the airbag in less than 60 ms. This multi-sensor technology offers ultra-fast detection and 360° protection. Like our mechanical airbag system, the vest can be reused within a few minutes after a fall. You simply need to replace the e-cartridge.

What is the detection time?
The system offers 360° protection with the fastest detection time on the market. For a speed of 35km/h we ensure detection from 31 ms (with the fork sensor) and 60 ms (without the fork sensor).

Option Full protection: How to pair the fork sensor with the vest?
It’s simple, you’ll need your vest, the sensor and the magnet.
- Switch on the vest.
- Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until the LED turns blue.
- You have 30 seconds to place the magnet in front of the fork sensor.
- A long beep indicates that the vest and the sensor are paired.

Option full protection: Do I need to recharge the fork sensor?
No, the sensor has an autonomy of about 5 years. Once installed on your motorcycle you don’t have to worry about it anymore.
However, we advise you to check monthly that the sensor is active and properly associated with your vest: place the magnet over the round symbol of the sensor: a beep + green LED indicate that the sensor is working properly.

Electronic system: the system automatically switches to standby after 30 seconds of inactivity. So you don’t have to switch it off after each use. The system also needs a speed or impact on the motorcycle to activate, so it cannot be triggered when you get off the motorcycle. The algorithm has been developed to avoid accidental triggering as much as possible (even if it is not possible to ensure 100% as with the mechanical system).

Our airbag systems are CE certified by the ALIENOR CERTIFICATION laboratory, a recognized and independent institute that certifies Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for motorcyclists.

USB-charger not included, what do you need?
The most important is 5V, after the power output of the adapter "adjusts" itself according to what the battery needs.
The maximum current requested by the card will be 600mA, i.e. a 3 Watts charger (P = UI = 5x0.6 = 3) minimum.
