Visiret anpassas automatiskt från klart på kvällen till mycket mörkt i starkt solljus, vilket eliminerar behovet av ha två olika visir.

CWR - 1 visiret har 100 procent UVA och UVB-skydd. Kommer med en reptålig beläggning , och kan användas med ett Pinlock. Visiret övergår från klar till sin fulla mörka nyans på 120 sekunder.

Shoei CWR-1 Transitions Photochromatic Visor for Shoei NXR. The Shoei Transitions visor automatically tints depending on ambient light conditions. The visor remains clear for night time and poor conditions, transitioning through a light tint for daytime and semi-sun conditions, and a dark tint for bright sunshine. It's that simple, and very effective.

Having the full visor photochromatic as opposed to a photochromatic Pinlock means that the entire visor tints, and does not leave any uncovered areas where sunlight can creep through. No fiddly visor changes necessary, just let the visor provide the optimal light conditions for you.

The level of tint depends on light conditions and temperature. At 23 degrees Celsius the visors maximum tint allows only 15% light transmission (hence not being road legal) which is as dark as any visor or sunglasses. The more intense the UV light and the warmer the conditions, the more dramatic the change to a darker tint is. The rate at which the visor tints is quite quick (can be full tint under 2 minutes!), the change from tinted to clear is quick but not quite so instant, so expect to lift the visor if you suddenly go under tree cover on track, as you would expect with any dark visor.
